Dr Sorensen discusses how a warming climate will impact Minnesota’s lakes, rivers and fish populations. Peter Sorensen is a professor of Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology at the University of Minnesota who specializes in fish biology and aquatic ecology. He has been at the University since 1988 during which time he has made contributions to the fields of fisheries ecology, behavior, physiology, toxicology and invasive Biology. He founded the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center in 2011 but splits his work between native and invasive fishes both in marine and fresh water. Most recently, he has started devoting most of his attention to fisheries conservation and climate change, convinced that these are the issues of our time.
